Basis start-up software for out of the box PC to windows
Introduction
This article covers a set of necessary free software for a PC. All software products mentioned in this article have a freeware status and can be used absolutely legally and downloaded from shara-soft.ru website.
After OS is installed along with all the necessary drivers, first of all you need to install the available Windows updates. To do so, you need to go to Settings Panel and select Windows Update Center or Windows Update and click ‘Check for updates’. In this case the system will find the necessary updates and install them. The system will restart once the updates are installed.
It is highly recommended to install Service Pack for Windows. It can be installed through Windows Update, or it can be downloaded from Microsoft website.
It is also advisable to install the latest version of directx 11 2010. It can also be found on Microsoft website.
Dictionary
As dictionary software we advise trying Magic Gooddy 2. It is a rather good dictionary, but what is more important it is totally free.
Browser
There are several main browsers: Internet Explorer, opera ac 3.7 rus, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Each one has its pros and cons. We suggest you trying each one of them, and then chose the one you like most of all. We made our decision towards Opera. The main idea of Opera is that it includes almost everything you might need. It is quite fast and moderate towards RAM usage.
The main plus of Firefox is its extendibility with plug-ins. Chrome is characterized by high page load speed and minimalistic design. The main benefit of Internet Explorer is compatibility.
